Jeon Hyun-moo's Discipline as an MBC Announcer: A News Gone Too Far

Jeon Hyun-moo and Jung Young-han will compete in a dance battle between senior and junior participants with the theme of "Dancing Announcer."

The second episode of MBC's liberal arts show 'Architecture-Space Traveler' (directed by So Hyung-joon Cho and Sung Seung-min, written by Nam Soo-hee, hereafter referred to as 'Architecture with a Reason'), airing on July 29, includes a journey to discover masterpieces created by first-generation architect Kim Soo-geun, who shaped Korea. Jeon Hyun-moo, Park Sun-young, and Jung Young-han, an MBC announcer, will accompany the architectural exploration.

On this day, Jeon Hyun-moo looked at Jung Young-han, who seemed uneasy and asked, "How many years has it been?" He enters the hierarchy with a sense of structure. Jung Young-han, a young MZ employee who joined the company in 2021, refers to Jeon Hyun-moo and Park Sun-young as "Senior Leaders" and unintentionally highlights a generational gap, making them feel embarrassed by his overly energetic behavior. Jeon Hyun-moo displays their Tiki-taka chemistry during a review of "Your news is not good enough."

Each of the three will lead a 'Kim Soo-geun Architectural Tour Course' and guide the participants. Jung Young-han surprised everyone by stating that there are more works by Kim Soo-geun in Daehak-ro Maronier Park than convenience stores within a 400m radius. Park Sun-young is amazed by Kim Soo-geun's architecture right in front of Hyehwa Station, saying, "Now I understand." Amidst all this, a dance contest between Jeon Hyun-moo and Jung Young-han will also occur. Jung Young-han, who gained popularity through his song `Dancing Announcer in the News,' expresses admiration for having grown up watching `Mushiefer.' In reply, Jeon Hyun-moo brings out 'Mushiper' again after a long time, stating, "I dedicate it to Kim Soo-geun," while Jung Young-han, a rising star in announcer-based dancing, delivers an energetic performance. Jeon Hyun-moo, who is about to lose 'Mucifer,' comments, "He's dancing a bit," highlighting the result of their clash.

"Kim Soo-geun Architectural Travel," where the chemistry between senior and junior announcers sparked, will be featured in the second episode of MBC's "The Reasoned Architectural-Space Traveler," airing at 9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 29.

In the meantime, MBC's "The Reasoned Architecture-Space Traveler" is an innovative architectural discussion program that explores narratives spanning multiple areas like history, culture, economy, art, and science through the lens of architecture. Renowned architects Yoo Hyun-joon, Jeon Hyun-moo, Hong Jin-kyung, and Park Sun-young will be featured.
