Arin met with Sports Chosun at the Studio Wave office in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 28th and took part in an interview for the conclusion of the Wave Original Series 'S Line'. Speaking about the responses from OH MY GIRL members, Arin mentioned, "The members were very understanding. The production of 'S Line' coincided with Oh My Girl's activities, and there were moments when I was more quiet than usual or Hyun-Hwa's presence appeared in my everyday life, but I believe the sisters were supportive and enjoyed it greatly. After watching the video, the older members commented that this style was appealing and unexpected."
Arin then said, "Since we've been together for 10 years, I don't think I can do it without thinking about OH MY GIRL no matter what decision I make. So, each of us has faith in one another and is pursuing individual activities. I was concerned about whether I could naturally change my other image, but that concern still remains. I believe this is also the biggest challenge given to me. I will strive to reveal a different aspect of myself in the future."
Arin mentioned that she is particularly drawn to action. "I enjoy films with numerous action sequences, so I hope to portray a cool and thrilling character one day. I'm fond of the noir style, and I also enjoy movies like 'New World' and 'The Thieves'. I like 'The Outlaws' as well." Since they are seniors in an exceptional position, I don't think they wanted to be together. However, if I get a good opportunity, I really want to try it, and if I can appear in 'Crime City 8', I will work hard at it too. I like Kim Hye-soo and Hwang Jung-min.
Arin also spoke about the wind as an actor in the future, saying, "I hope that Arin isn't thought of too much. I want to be an actor who becomes part of the character in the work. I also want to push myself without any limits. I don't have much fear, and I believe there are things that I enjoy challenging. While working with Oh My Girl, I've experimented with various concepts, but I'm not afraid of anything at all. If something suits the role, I would even consider shaving my head if it's truly necessary," he stated with determination.
