She also mentioned her desire to reflect on the changes, anxieties, longings, responsibilities, faith, and love she experienced during her 30s and 40s.
The singer expressed her gratitude to her fans for their continued support and welcomed them back. “I hope it will be a two-hour music travel mate and a time to shake the precious innocence in the corner of your heart and spread to hope and joy,” she added. Lee So-eun also highlighted the significance of this event as her first performance in 13 years and her first album in 20 years. Despite the passage of time, she believes that she and her fans will remain connected by the "brilliant sparkle" that lingers in their minds.
A New Musical Journey
In addition to the concert, Lee So-eun will release a new collaboration album titled 'Isoun's gaze - Notes on a Poem.' This is her first album in 20 years since her fourth album 'Think Of Me.' The album, created in collaboration with composer REMA, features 16 tracks, including four English bonus songs. It interprets 12 simultaneous songs with Lee So-eun’s unique sensibility, offering a fresh perspective on her musical journey.
Lee So-eun has always been known for her pure voice, which gained widespread recognition after her debut with the song 'Girl' in 1998. Throughout her career, she has delivered hit songs such as 'You look alike,' 'Kitchen,' 'Goodbye,' and 'Long.' She has also collaborated on duet songs like 'Miracle' and 'Greedy' with singer Kim Dong-ryul. Her recent work continues to showcase her growth and artistic evolution.
A Message from Lee So-eun
In a heartfelt message, Lee So-eun reflected on the meaning behind the title 'Hello Again, Again.' She described it as a story of time embedded in the comma between the pleasure of meeting again and the word 'Again.' She emphasized the importance of this performance and the emotions it brings. “I’m preparing for a time where I feel the change, anxiety, longing, responsibility, faith, and love that I've felt in my 30s and 40s by sharing songs that I've loved a lot since my debut,” she said.
She also spoke about the mix of familiarity and novelty in the planning and performing team. “The planning/directing team and musicians who make the performance together are also a combination of new relationships with old colleagues, so familiarity and novelty coexist, and the music of the performance itself feels like that,” she added.
Lee So-eun concluded her message by thanking her fans for their unwavering support. “Thank you so much to those who show warm support and interest in me, who are doing something completely different on the other side of the world, and those who don't forget my music and welcome me,” she said. She hopes that the concert will be a meaningful experience for everyone involved, creating lasting memories and spreading hope and joy.
