The Insurance Commissioner (Ag.), Dr. Abiba Zakariah, has urged professional women in the insurance sector to have strategies for all aspects of their work, as well as their private lives.

She highlighted that PLANNING is the initial step toward achievement, stating that recognizing one's circumstances and objectives is crucial. "Only by doing so can plans be effectively carried out," she mentioned. She encouraged the Lady Professionals to deliberately create plans that are realistic and applicable within their respective fields.

She emphasized the value of individual growth by engaging in study, mastering new techniques, and gaining essential abilities. She pointed out that this would have a beneficial impact on both career advancement and family relationships.

Dr. Zakariah added, “Success is never a coincidence. It comes from strong purpose, genuine hard work, wise guidance, effective implementation, and the ability to view challenges as chances to create a difference.”

The Commissioner spoke during a summit marking the tenth anniversary of the Chartered Insurance Ladies Association Ghana (CILAG) in Accra. The gathering was held in an impressive manner, with an emphasis on generating funds to assist children with cancer.

She encouraged every woman to obtain some type of insurance, pointing out that this would have a major financial effect on society.

The head of CILAG, Lady Nicholina Naa Yeye Adumuah, mentioned that integrity, expertise, perseverance, and teamwork are essential for women's achievements in the insurance sector. She highlighted that CILAG has created not only a group of top professionals but also a significant presence in the industry.
