A celebrity recognized for participating in rodeos throughoutBrazilhas unfortunately passed away due to a rare type of bone diseasecancer at age 22.
Camila Trevisol died last week, only hours after sharing a touching image of herself onInstagraminforming her fans that this would be the final time they would witness her awake.
The model admitted that she was experiencing discomfort and had trouble breathing, and she wished to be given sedation.
"She was no longer able to cope and requested to be given sedation," her mother Patricia wrote in a post on her daughter's account.
She has already been sedated, so she will not experience any more pain and can wait for God's decision.
Trevisol was initially diagnosed with cancer in 2016 after a tumor was found in her femur, following a medical appointment to address leg pain she experienced from being hit by a soccer ball.
She received chemotherapy and had no signs of cancer by 2017.
However, in 2023, she received a diagnosis of Ewing's sarcoma, a severe type of cancer that targets bone tissue.

Trevisol was honored in 2024 when the organizers of the annual Americana Rodeo Festival in American, São Paulo named her 'Inspirational Queen' to recognize her efforts in overcoming the illness.
She received recognition once more at the 2025 version of the rodeo, which took place in May.
Shortly after her passing, the pageant winner's family shared on social media a final message she had written for her friends and fans.
"I know it's not a good time, but I wrote this and requested it to be published," the letter said in Portuguese.
Every person who has been part of my life has created a memory that I will always cherish, so I am deeply thankful to everyone who spent time in their lives to share experiences with me, follow me on Instagram, pray, converse, and do all the other things.
I have already completed my purpose on this earth, and I am aware that my role was to motivate and impact you regarding life, reminding you to cherish every moment no matter what you are facing. Life is fleeting, and time is too valuable to not value each instant, so live fully and never surrender, never dwell on negative thoughts, and never give up.
One of Trevisol's final desires was for her Instagram profile to stay active, allowing everyone to 'continually visit and recall who I was and all that I experienced.'
"I cherish all of you and am extremely grateful for your presence in my life and for everyone who has come to see me," she wrote.
I want you to understand that I am leaving peacefully and my pain has ended, but don't believe that it was due to a lack of strength or bravery, but rather because I could no longer endure. God called me to be with him, and I know my legacy will always be remembered... until our next life, I love you.
Friends and strangers rushed to Trevisol's Instagram and filled it with messages of condolence.

Emily Stéfany remembered performing on the same stage as Trevisol at the Americana Rodeo Festival and being named second queen.
"Our dream became a reality together, and experiencing this dream with you was far more wonderful," she wrote.
"It's astonishing how advanced, powerful, motivating, brave, and a multitude of other positive words she was, which I can't even list!" another reader commented.
Until we meet again, Camila... I'd love to see you in every one of them!
